Act justly, love mercy, walk humbly.

With what shall I come before the Lord
and bow down before the exalted God?

Shall I come before him with burnt offerings,
with calves a year old?


Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams,
with ten thousand rivers of olive oil?

Shall I offer my firstborn for my transgression,
the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?


He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?

To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God.

어느 국어 시간에 배운 시가 생각나는 밤하늘이다.

강나루 건너서
밀밭 길을

구름에 달 가듯이

Hiromi at SF Jazz Center.

운동화 차림도 그렇고 조금은 스카스러운 리듬도 그렇고
Hiromi Uehara의 재즈 피아노엔 격식이 없었다.

그렇지만 끄덕끄덕 춤을 추거나 익살스럽게 웃으면서도
연주는 클래식 만큼이나 흐트러짐이 없었다.



왼손 오른손을 마음껏 바꾸던 Simon Phillips는
다 쓰기 어려울 만큼 경이로웠고
포데라 6현 쓰는 Anthony Jackson의 톤은 부드럽고 무거웠다.



뭣 모르고 따라 갔다가
기억에 남을 선물을 거져 얻은 기분.
